The editorial activity aims to foster and express the teaching and research promoted by the Institute. For the operational aspect, publications are managed by Institute’s Publishing Office. The publishing activity is expressed in the following series.
Collects the texts of the courses taught in the Institute and the fruits of the research.
The series reproduces masterly lectures of the leading exponents of culture and of the ecclesial and civil life promoted by the Institute.
It collects short essays concerning the teachings and fields of research active in the Institute.
As an expression of the research carried out in the Sophia University Institute, the journal (ISSN 2036-5047) intends to be a tool for research and of in-depth study in the disciplines of competence of the professorships that act as a base and guides a considerable number of teaching and research departments.
Through the “Friends of Sophia” Association, it aims to offer a cultural space illuminated by friendship, especially to the young people studying at Sophia, a typical of the Augustinian dialogues of Cassiciacum.
At conferences, researchers present papers on the research they are doing and obtain feedback from the audience. The papers presented in the conference are then usually published in a volume.
As an expression of the research carried out in the Sophia University Institute, the journal intends to be a tool for research and of in-depth study in the disciplines of competence of the professorships that act as a base and guides a considerable number of teaching and research departments. These include subjects from biblical theology to systematic theology, from political philosophy to political economy, from epistemology and cosmology to logic. The Sophia journal (ISSN 2036-5047) is registered among the scientific journals of the Anvur (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System) for area 11 – Philosophical Disciplines. The writings proposed for publication are “peer-reviewed“.
