The course aims to offer fundamental knowledge elements to interpret communication as an emerging process capable of generating changes in society, organizations, and interpersonal relationships, and to foster the development of a culture of encounter. In particular, the course highlights how, to develop generative communication, new communication technologies and new media can become “community technologies”.
The course is divided into 5 thematic units:
- From “network society” to “meeting society”;
- Excursus on the category of generativity;
- Generativity and communication in an interdisciplinary perspective;
- Communication sustainability;
- Scenarios, practices and narratives for quality communication.
