Overview biennial a.y. 2022-2024
(for those enrolled in the second year)
With an original profile in the academic panorama, the degree programme offers a structural dialogue between philosophy, theology and scientific rationality. The history, the theor-ethical meaning and the performative exercise of the intelligence of B/being are studied in the relational key offered by the “Trinitarian principle” and in dialogue with the sapiential visions of the different religious traditions and the different interpretations of the destiny of humanity.
The degree programme draws from anthropology, the humanities and social sciences in their concurring contribution toward a reading of reality and complex scenarios and processes in the light of an integral vision of the human being and contemporary society. Two specific areas are thus explored: communication and dialogue (understood mainly as intercultural and interreligious), and integral education of the person.
Sophia’s Master’s in International Politics and Law confers skills to understand the transformations in progress in the current political framework and to intervene in it. The program analyses the strategic and ideological changes in the European and international scenario and orients the emerging paradigms in the light of a culture of unity. Each student is a central player in the course. The theoretical subjects provide the know-what and prepare for the subsequent research work. Collaboration at the international level with parliamentarians, diplomats, civil servants and public administrators, leaders of civil society organizations, makes possible a broad dialogue to deepen and test the know-how for action.
The world is experiencing a profound transformation that poses new questions to the way of thinking, being and acting in the economy at all levels. The programme aims to train economic protagonists to be able to read the current context with its many challenges of sustainability and operate responsibly in business and in the vast world of organizations. The interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective of the programme offers the necessary technical, relational and value competences to promote a change that places the person and the quality of relationships at the center.
