Quali sono i benefici etici e i limiti degli sforzi per risolvere i conflitti? Il corso presenta le teorie sulla risoluzione dei conflitti e le loro applicazioni in vari contesti: tra paesi e gruppi etnici; come alternativa ai contenziosi civili; in contesti personali. In particolare il corso toccherà i seguenti temi:
- Una breve rassegna di varie teorie sulla risoluzione dei conflitti.
- Metodi comparativi per la critica di vari modelli di risoluzione dei conflitti.
- Esame critico di casi specifici di conflitti a vari livelli: internazionale, civile, sociale e personale.
- Esplorazione degli strumenti di comunicazione per aiutare nella risoluzione dei conflitti.
Il corso prevede discussioni su studi di casi concreti che contribuiranno ad illustrare le sfide che emergono quando i principi generali dell’etica vengono applicati. Durante il corso si presterà particolare attenzione alle capacità comunicative e interpersonali che possono aiutare alla risoluzione dei conflitti ai vari livelli.
