The course presents and analyses the main elements of social ethics, centered on the concept of the person, with particular reference to Catholic social thought. The themes of peace, development, human rights and the environment are considered. Then the focus is brought on ethical decision-making in various roles and settings, focusing on the interactions between personal conscience and professional obligations.
