From May 8 to 10, 2025, a formation course for parish leaders and volunteers will be held in Bratislava – Záhorská Bystrica, Slovakia. Titled “Local Church – Communion, Participation, and Mission”, the event is promoted by the Archdiocese of Bratislava, the magazine Ekklesia, and the publishing house Nové mesto, in collaboration with the Evangelii Gaudium Center of Sophia University Institute (Italy).

From May 24 to 26, 2024, a Synodality Workshop was held in Castel Gandolfo, organized by the Evangelii Gaudium Center of the Sophia University Institute, concluding the second year of the Synodality Training Course. The course includes three online modules and a final hybrid module. The specific theme of the workshop was Places and Methods of Participation in the Church.

On Saturday, 24 June 2023, a theological seminar was held in Incisa Valdarno (Florence), on the theme "Participating/Presiding/Deciding. Sacramental roots and communion dynamics in the journey of the People of God in mission'.
