The course aims to offer an introduction to philosophical anthropology with a brief reference to the history of philosophy and a focus on the twentieth century. The authors stuied will be mainly Edith Stein and Max Scheler, with specific reference to key aspects of the human being: the unity of body and soul, the dimension of spirit and feelings, the world of values.
During the course, passages by the authors mentioned above will be read and commented.
