LM-OTSpecialization in Philsophy

Course held in Italian

The course aims to present the central theme that runs through the history of thought from Modernity to the present day: subjectivity and its relation to the world. To this end, a number of key figures – Descartes, Husserl, Levinas and Foucoult – will be examined in depth, linking the discourse between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries and opening up different scenarios of reflection, although sharing common starting points. Some basic references from the history of modern and contemporary philosophy will be presupposed in the context of analysis, which will be mentioned without further elaboration.
