Argiolas: «Karram, a great incentive for consolidation»

The Rector of the Sophia University Institute welcomes the new President of the Focolare Movement as Vice-Grand-Chancellor. Gratitude to Maria Voce

The General Assembly of the Focolare Movement elected Margaret Karram and Jesús Morán President and Co-President. Congratulations and best wishes to both!

As defined by the statues of the Sophia University Institute, the President of the Focolare Movement is the vice-grand-chancellor. Her first task is to «make sure that the Institute evolves according to its nature and goals and as an expression of the Work of Mary».

Margaret Karram follows in the footsteps of Maria “Emmaus” Voce, whom we enormously thank for accompanying, after Chiara Lubich, our Institute with wisdom, foresight and pragmatism and we are sure that she will still accompanying us in a different way. On behalf of the whole academic community and on my own behalf, we are delighted with this election, and we are sure that the experience, personal features and vision of the Vice-Grand Chancellor Margaret Karram will enhance the consolidation and development of Sophia.
