Online Open Day: degree programmes presented live on Friday 28 August
On Friday 28 August at 6.00 p.m. (CEST), Sophia University Institute is dedicating an online meeting to those who are choosing their university path. The Open Day will be streamed live on the Institute’s YouTube channel and will be entirely devoted to presenting the academic offer for the 2026/2027 academic year.

From the coming academic year, the Institute offers a complete 3+2 university path, structured in two fully articulated cycles: the Baccalaureate in Philosophy and Human Sciences (three-year degree, interclass L-5/L-24) and the Licentiate in Philosophy, Economy of Communion and Environment (master’s degree, class LM-78). Thanks to the collaboration with the Department of Philosophy, Social and Human Sciences and Education of the University of Perugia, both programmes lead to a double academic degree — ecclesiastical and state-recognised — fully valid within the Italian university system and recognised internationally.
The meeting will cover the curricula of both programmes, entry requirements and admission procedures. Faculty members will take part and will be available to answer questions from students and families live.
The Open Day is also an opportunity to take a close look at Sophia’s educational method. Two distinct paths, one method: philosophy as the backbone, in dialogue with the human sciences, theology and economics; an international academic community, where students and lecturers from different backgrounds share study and daily life; two campuses, between Loppiano and the centre of Florence.
In the weeks following the meeting, the Institute will publish dedicated presentations of each degree programme, with a detailed look at the individual study plans.
Attendance is free and requires no registration: simply follow the live link at the scheduled time.
