Your Excellency Most Reverend Monsignor Gherardo Gambelli,

With great joy and profound respect, the Sophia University Institute wishes to express its sincerest congratulations on your appointment as Metropolitan Archbishop of Florence.

Your elevation to this prestigious office is a source of pride and hope for our academic community, which sees in you not only a spiritual reference point but also a bastion of wisdom and moral guidance.

We are confident that your ministry will be marked by the same dedication and fervor that have always characterized your journey of faith, as Cardinal Betori mentioned in his introductory words about you. With your leadership, we believe that our Church of Florence will continue to flourish and bear witness to the message of love and truth of the Gospel.

As the Grand Chancellor of the Institute, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to welcome you, ready to collaborate and support your visions for a future of growth and development both for our institution and for the broader ecclesial community.

In assuring you of our prayers for your ministry, we hope that you will find in the Sophia University Institute a place of dialogue and encounter, where the pursuit of truth and the integral formation of the person are always in service to the common good.

With esteem and affection,
