Post-Doctoral School
The Post-Doctoral School is configured as a path to academic excellence. Researchers with a Doctoral degree in the disciplines envisioned in Sophia University Institute’s academic programme, or related to them, come to be incorporated into this School with an original contribution to the research programme pursued in accordance with the institution’s different paths of study and in accordance with the epistemic profile which distinguishes it.

Admission to the Post-Doctoral School occurs in the following ways:
a) by applying for special grants announced by the Institute, in reference to specific fields of study and research topics; the winner of the competition in this case is the beneficiary of the scholarship provided by the grant;
b) by compiling and submitting the attached application form by April 30th, accompanied by a proposal which fits within the fields of study envisioned by the Institute, pertaining to the Institute’s research programmes and to a Faculty member’s particular expertise to monitor the proposal’s implementation.
Upon acceptance by the evaluating Commission, the candidate must complete enrolment in the Post-Doctoral School through the Registrar by June 15th. Tuition fees of 2,400 Euros per year (subdivided into two installments of 1,200 Euros each) are due by November 15th and March 15th respectively.
