Attingendo alla Psicologia dello Sviluppo e dell’Educazione, il corso si propone di offrire una riflessione attuale sull’infanzia in una prospettiva di promozione dell’essere umano all’interno della prospettiva persona-relazione. Partendo dalla consapevolezza che promuovere uno sviluppo adeguato della sfera cognitiva, affettiva e sociale, sin dai primi istanti di vita, costituisca la base per la costruzione di una personalità matura in grado di fare esperienza di vita soddisfacente in una dimensione relazionale, gli obbiettivi del corso saranno finalizzati all’acquisizione di riferimenti critico-valutativi delle diverse prospettive teoriche in modo da consentire un avvicinamento e una padronanza delle principali questioni dello sviluppo relative all’infanzia in ottica educativa.

Nello specifico, i contenuti illustreranno i contributi più significativi di autori, modelli e strategie di intervento elaborati nell’ambito della Psicologia dello Sviluppo e dell’Educazione, le più recenti conoscenze riguardo i cambiamenti evolutivi che caratterizzano lo sviluppo percettivo, cognitivo, comunicativo, affettivo e sociale, la centralità del ruolo dell’educatore e della comunità nel processo di crescita del bambino.
