Il corso intende mostrare come l’attuale crisi ambientale si caratterizzi essenzialmente come crisi antropologica. Secondo una formalità multidisciplinare (scientifica, filosofica, teologica) si vuole tentare il superamento dell’attuale paradigma riguardante il rapporto persona-natura e stimolare il recupero del significato delle relazioni che legano la persona umana alla natura stessa.

  1. Fattori storici e culturali caratterizzanti il rapporto persona-natura. L’attuale crisi ambientale intesa come insostenibilità, ingiustizia sociale e decadimento della qualità della vita.
  2. Presentazione delle varie etiche ambientali e loro classificazione.
  3. Superamento dell’antropocentrismo e del fisiocentrismo dell’attuale panorama culturale mediante un’etica dell’ambiente che abbia nella Rivelazione il suo fondamento.
  4. Coscienza ambientale e princìpi etici di sostenibilità, precauzione, cooperazione e causa. Sostenibilità e stili di vita. Sfide poste dalla questione ambientale alle scienze economiche, sociali, e giuridiche.
