Persons, Relation, Sociality: Theological & Anthropological Perspectives

TEO 122   Persons, Relation, Sociality: Theological & Anthropological Perspectives

Class hours: 42

Credits (ECTS): 6

Interdisciplinary Foundations in Culture of Unity

Biennial: a.y. 2022-2024

Year: 1st

Terms: 1st–2nd

Course held in English

A crucial node of human societies is how to combine full respect for each human being with collective exigencies, individual autonomy with the vital necessity of social interaction. A key for reconciling these apparently opposite poles resides in what is probably the least understood tenet of Christian faith, the unity-trinity of God. The course examines the implications of a Trinitarian vision of reality and provides insight for understanding the relational shape of human persons, both towards fellow humans and in respect of nature.
