On the occasion of the celebrations for the 69th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, we interviewed prof. Léonce Bekemans, a Belgian economist and scholar of European studies, who holds the Jean Monnet Chair ad personam “Globalisation, Europeanisation, Human Development” at the University of Padua. He is also a visiting professor at the Catholic University of Milan, and collaborates with the University Institute Sophia and its Global Studies Centre.
